Forza Horizon 6 is officially coming to PlayStation 5, and we now know exactly when. Playground Games and PlayStation jointly confirmed that the open-world racer will launch on PS5 on January 26, 2027, ending months of speculation about when the Xbox and PC release would make the jump to Sony's console.

A later date than originally planned

The studio had previously said it aimed to bring the game to PS5 within this year. The newly announced date makes clear that plan has slipped, pushing the PlayStation debut to early 2027.

Forza Horizon 6 launched in May for Xbox consoles and PC, pairing the series' familiar open-world formula with a long-requested Japan setting. That PS5 version will arrive with a bonus: the game's first expansion pack will be available on the same day. Premium edition owners get the expansion included, while players with the standard edition can purchase it separately if they choose.
